The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) informs you that access to and use of the website www.pssd.es, including all its subdomains and directories (hereinafter jointly referred to as “the Portal”), are subject to the terms described in this Legal Notice. This is without prejudice to the fact that access to some of these services or content may require the acceptance of additional General Conditions.
CSIC reserves the right to make changes to the Portal without prior notice, with the aim of updating, correcting, modifying, adding, or removing content or design. As the information update is not immediate, we recommend that you always verify the validity and accuracy of the information, services, and content provided. Likewise, the terms and conditions contained in this Notice may vary, so we invite you to review them each time you visit the Portal.
CSIC is not responsible for any damages or losses that may result from the use of the tools and information contained on www.pssd.es when making decisions regarding the initiation, development, or outcome of administrative procedures. Such decisions must be verified with the relevant centers, bodies, or authorities. In any case, the information and content on this website may not be used in legal proceedings against the Public Administration, and CSIC accepts no liability for any discrepancies between the printed documents of the competent Administration and their electronic publication on this website.

Privacy
The collection and automated processing of personal data collected through this website is intended for managing the service requested by the user and for following up on inquiries. The legal basis for this processing is the user’s consent and the necessity of processing for CSIC’s performance of its public functions and missions, for which it is responsible. Deletion periods will depend on the specific case and the service requested.
Regulations require that the inventory of data processing activities be published electronically. In the Transparency section of this website, you can find the CSIC’s Record of Processing Activities (RAT). Through the links provided in that section, users can access the RATs for the CSIC’s central organization and for its various Centers and Institutes. These records specify, for each data processing activity, the identity of the data controller, the legal basis, processing purposes, data categories, deletion forecasts, and a general description of the technical and organizational security measures.
In accordance with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and related legislation, CSIC is committed to confidentiality and the obligation to maintain the secrecy of personal data, especially following the corresponding risk analyses. It complies with the security measures required by the National Security Scheme, aimed at preventing alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access.
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, or data portability at any time by writing to the General Secretariat of the CSIC at C/ Serrano 117, 28006 MADRID (Spain), enclosing a photocopy of their ID card, or through the CSIC’s Electronic Register (requiring a recognized digital certificate).

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The applicable law in case of dispute or conflict regarding the interpretation of this Legal Notice, or any matter related to the services provided through this Portal, shall be Spanish law.
To resolve any conflicts that may arise from visiting the Portal or using its services, CSIC and the User agree to submit to the courts of the User’s domicile, provided it is located within Spanish territory.
